Another Trip Around the Sun

* I * think is totally worth it.
I won't be buying for $15 tomorrow, though.

...I bought it today ;P
Grrr. The baby woke up at midnight and I fed her and got her back asleep by 12:40, so I didn't stay up to check what the new shirt would be at 1AM, or else I too would have bought it then. Usually she's up right around 1AM, so I get a chance to check the various woot offers right away. I'm kicking myself now for not saving myself $5 on this shirt...
oh, don't feel bad. still a great deal at $15.
...I bought w00t shirts on the 2nd chance too. nothing to be ashamed of.

and surely those 20 minutes of sleep are worth $5, non?

Of course it's worth it. What's a woot?
Woot.com is a discount retail website that sells one product each day until they run out of it. They start selling a new product at midnight central time each night, and the more popular products can sell out in a matter of minutes.

In the past couple years, they've opened a bunch of variants on their main premise - wine.woot.com for wine, shirt.woot.com for t-shirts, sellout.woot.com for 1 product a day featured on Yahoo, etc.
buy it!
Oh. Thanks. You need that shirt.
I didn't know about sellout.woot.com - thanks for the hookup on that one!

I sooooo totally did not understand this shirt that it's embarrassing. So I say yes, if you're geeking out on it, you should definitely get it - and then explain it to people, like me, who see it on you and respond with a "wtf?" expression.
If you go to the shirt.woot.com website and look at the full-size image (click on the shirt picture on the page to see it), you'll see a figure of the earth and the sun, and the mathematical formula that ends up showing that the earth revolves around the sun in 365.25 days. Any shirt that illustrates the need for February 29th every 4 years by means of math is geeky enough to catch my interest.
[this is good]
Totally. I love it! Go for it.
