Previously on the calliope

I was wavering on which follow-up song to post, but XTC won out. I think it was because the Mook talked about his brain not working yet, and this song always makes my brain stop working.

How odd. No "Vox This" link here.

It might be because I had it set up as posted to the group but hidden to only me on my blog. I just made it viewable by anyone - try that and see if it's changed.

That is a great idea for not confusing the casual blog reader. I may experiment with that. Have I told you today that "You Rock?"

The only problem with doing this (unless they've already fixed the bug I discovered and reported last year) is:

1. You post to the group (but hide on your blog)
2. Someone comments on the post
3. You post a reply comment to their comment.
4. When they receive this reply comment notification in their email, the link in the email tries to take them to the post on your blog, not the group post. So they get an "error, post not found" message, and can only see the comment by navigating back to the post via the group.

Of course, this may be fixed by now, but I've been wary of posting items only to a group, when I expect to be replying to comments, for this reason.
